AddonDesk Sync is made by FD Plugins, an independent developer. It is not affiliated with AddOnDesk or with the vendors of the other plugins it downloads for you.
For anything about a plugin you bought (installation, password, licence, bugs), please contact that plugin’s vendor from its own product page on AddOnDesk.
Use the support of this page only for AddonDesk Sync itself (sign in, downloads, USB key, console plugin).
Stop updating your plugins by hand
Owning many AddOnDesk plugins means checking for updates, downloading zips, unpacking them on the right USB key, then re-importing each plugin in each show. AddonDesk Sync does it for you.
On your computer (Windows and macOS)
- Logs in to your AddOnDesk account and lists every product you own: new purchases, new versions and products never downloaded are shown and ticked for you.
- Downloads and extracts each archive into its own folder on your MA3 USB key (plugins/AddonDesk/<Product>), and wipes the old version first.
- Finds your MA3 USB key by itself and copies as soon as it is plugged in.
- Writes nothing else on the key: other plugins on it are never touched.
- Tells MA3 plugins from software and other files (Windows / macOS software, Stream Deck profiles…), which stay on your computer.
- Hide or ignore the products you do not want.
- Real installers: a Windows setup (for your user, no administrator rights, Start menu and desktop shortcuts, uninstall in Settings > Apps) and a macOS disk image.
- Keeps every download in one folder (Documents/AddonDesk Sync, or the folder you choose): the plugins are copied to all your keys from it, without downloading them again.
- Archives protected by their vendor with a password: enter it once, it is kept in your system keychain and used again for the next versions.
- “Contact the vendor” opens the AddOnDesk page of a product when something is wrong with it.
- Runs in the menu bar / notification area, checks every 12 hours and updates itself.
On the console (grandMA3 2.5 or later)
- One window lists every AddOnDesk plugin of your key against your show: pool number, installed version, version on the key, MA version it was made for, author.
- Updates a plugin in its own pool slot: executors and macros that call it keep working.
- Installs the plugins you tick at consecutive free pool numbers, from a start index you choose.
- Picks the right variant when a product ships several (MA3 2.4, 2.5…).
- Removes plugins (with a confirmation), hides the ones you never want to be offered.
- Updates itself when the app brings a new version.

- Windows 10 / 11, or macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon (M1, M2…)
- grandMA3 2.5 or later for the console plugin (onPC or console)
- Your own AddOnDesk account: the app only downloads what you bought
