Find and Replace

Description

Search and Replace text in Sequence(s) Command(s) or Macro(s). Batch editing of multiple Sequences or Macros makes big programming changes extremely time saving.

What is included

CueCommands

• Select the Sequence you want information from.
  
• Run the plugin.
  
• Check your command line history for a log of all commands in the selected Sequence (all cues, all parts), sorted by Cue and Part.
  

Find and Replace – Sequence Commands

• Type in what to Find and what to Replace.
  
• In Sequence(s) you can:
  
  • Leave empty to use the selected Sequence,
    
  • Enter a single Sequence by number or name,
    
  • Enter ALL or * to target all Sequences in the current DataPool,
    
  • Or enter a range, e.g. 1 Thru 20.
    
• Press Please and review the detailed change log in the command line history (Sequences, Cues, Parts, and before/after Command text).
  

Find and Replace – Macro

• Type in what to Find and what to Replace.
  
• In Macro(s) you can:
  
  • Enter a single Macro by number or name,
    
  • Enter ALL or * to target all Macros in the current DataPool,
    
  • Or enter a range, e.g. 1 Thru 50.
    
• Press Please and review the change log in the command line history (Macro, Line number, and before/after Command text).
  

Compatibility and notes

• V 1.1 – 28/11 2025
• Developed & tested on grandMA3 v2.3.2.0.
  
• Intended for grandMA3 consoles and onPC, v2.2+.
  
• Always prints a full change report so you can verify exactly what was touched.
  
• As with all show-critical tools: always back up your showfile before doing major changes.
