Easy Installation Less Than a Minute
Getting started is quick and easy:
- Double-click the
*.streamDeckPluginfile to automatically install the plugin into the Elgato Stream Deck software. - Double-click the included
*.streamDeckProfilefile to automatically import the Stream Deck profile. - Click Initialize Stream Deck in the plugin.
- Click Open Connection Settings and follow the built-in setup guide to complete the connection to grandMA3.
The plugin integrates natively into the Elgato Stream Deck software, so no additional control software is required. Setup only takes about a minute, and the built-in guide walks you through the final connection settings step by step.
Overlay Windows
The plugin provides several buttons for opening grandMA3 overlay windows.
Clicking one of these buttons will instantly open the corresponding overlay in the grandMA3 software.

Add Menu

Pool and Sheet
The main page includes three additional submenus that provide fast access to the most important grandMA3 pools and sheets.
These menus allow you to open the required windows with a single button press. All windows are opened on Display 1 of the grandMA3 software.
The available submenus are:
- Presets – Opens all preset pools.
- Pools – Opens all other object pools, giving you quick access to the show data stored within your showfile.
- Sheets – Opens the most commonly used sheets for programming and show management.

Presets
The Presets menu provides quick access to all Preset Pools in grandMA3.
In addition, the buttons at the top of the menu allow you to switch instantly between different Data Pools, making it easy to access presets from any pool without navigating through the user interface.
Pools
The Pools menu provides quick access to the most important object pools in grandMA3.
Selecting a pool immediately opens the corresponding pool window on Display 1, allowing you to access and manage your show data with a single button press.
Sheets
The Sheets menu provides fast access to all commonly used grandMA3 sheets.
With a single button press, the selected sheet opens directly, allowing you to reach the information you need without searching through menus or windows.
Having all important sheets in one place makes navigation faster and keeps your workflow efficient while programming or operating a show.
Direct Access Controls
The plugin also provides direct access to several frequently used console controls.
Dedicated Executor buttons allow you to trigger executors directly from the Stream Deck without additional navigation.
You can also instantly select the desired Fader Bank, making it quick and easy to switch between different executor pages during programming or live operation.
Executor Buttons
The plugin currently provides 84 Executor Buttons, allowing you to trigger sequences and any other objects assigned to those executors directly from the Stream Deck.
These buttons give you fast, reliable access to your show without the need to navigate through the grandMA3 user interface.
Tip: The number of available Executor Buttons is not fixed. It can easily be expanded by copying the existing executors and assigning them to additional Stream Deck buttons, allowing you to customize the layout to your own workflow.
Page Selection
The plugin includes 28 Page Selection buttons for instantly switching between grandMA3 pages.
This is especially useful during live shows, where you need to switch quickly from one song or cue layout to another.
The page buttons can be customized with your own labels to match your workflow. They can also be easily rearranged using drag and drop, and additional page buttons can be added at any time if your setup requires more.
Feature Group Selection
The Feature Group Selection buttons allow you to select any Feature Group in grandMA3 directly from the Stream Deck.
Simply press the corresponding button, and the selected Feature Group is activated immediately in the grandMA3 software.
This provides a fast and convenient way to switch between feature groups without using the mouse or navigating through on-screen menus.
Edit Recipe
The Edit Recipe button allows you to enable or disable Recipe Edit Mode with a single press.
This means you can switch Recipe Edit Mode on or off directly from the Stream Deck, without having to open the corresponding window or menu in the grandMA3 software. This provides much faster access while programming recipes and helps maintain a smooth workflow.

Key Functions
The Key Functions menu offers the same fast and intuitive workflow.
Simply press the desired Key Function on the Stream Deck, then click the target executor in grandMA3. The selected function is assigned immediately.
This eliminates several manual steps and makes assigning executor key functions significantly faster and more convenient than navigating through the standard menus.
Appearance

The Appearance menu provides one of the fastest workflows available in the plugin.
When you press an Appearance button, the selected appearance is created automatically. At the same time, the appropriate Assign command is written directly to the grandMA3 command line.
All you have to do next is click the key, button, executor, or pool object that should receive the appearance.
This reduces the entire process to a single button press on the Stream Deck followed by a single click in grandMA3.
MAtricks
The MAtricks section provides fast access to the most commonly used MAtricks functions.
You can quickly select Blocks and Groups, step through the available settings, enable Wings, and choose the X, Y, or Z axis directly from the Stream Deck.
Additional functions such as Shuffle are also available, along with predefined timing values for rapid adjustments.
The goal is to provide one-click access to the most important MAtricks settings, allowing you to work much faster than navigating through the standard grandMA3 interface.
Phaser
The Phaser menu makes working with phasers much faster and more convenient.
It provides direct access to the most important phaser functions, allowing you to apply common settings to the Phaser Editor with a single button press.
Instead of navigating through multiple menus, you can make frequent phaser adjustments directly from the Stream Deck, significantly speeding up your programming workflow.
Color Picker
The Color Picker is one of the standout innovations of this Stream Deck configuration.
It provides instant access to a carefully selected palette of the most commonly used colors for color-mixing fixtures. With a single button press, the selected color is written directly into the Programmer.
From there, the color can be stored in a preset or used immediately in your programming workflow.
In addition to static colors, the Color Picker also includes a large collection of color transitions and color fades, giving you fast access to a wide variety of dynamic color effects without the need to build them manually.
Worlds
The Worlds menu introduces a fast and highly efficient way to work with Worlds in grandMA3.
From this menu, you can instantly switch between existing worlds and manage your workflow without navigating through the standard interface. Using the Store World function, new worlds can also be created and stored directly from the Stream Deck.
A particularly powerful feature is Current Selection. With a single button press, all currently selected fixtures are placed into a temporary World, allowing you to focus exclusively on those fixtures. When you’re finished, you can immediately switch back to the Full World.
This workflow makes working with Worlds faster, more flexible, and significantly more convenient, making it one of the most innovative features of the Stream Deck configuration.

I’ve been using the Stream Deck plugin with grandMA3, and I’m genuinely impressed. Installation was straightforward, and everything worked perfectly from the very beginning.
The interface is clean, polished, and very well designed. What stands out the most is that the plugin goes beyond simply replicating the console. Features such as the **Phaser** tools, **Color Picker**, **Appearances**, and **MAtricks** provide real workflow improvements and make programming faster and more intuitive.
