MultiSave 2.0 is an efficient plugin that saves the show fie to all connected drives. When you double click the plugin a simple menu opens to set the save options. You can set an interval time for automatic saving, a countdown time to be able to cancel automatic savings, enumeration to avoid overwriting old versions and deactivate internal saving to keep your files only on external drives.
