Description

The GMA3 console has faders and knobs conected to the executors. When you assign a sequence to an executor you can use this fader or knob to set, for example, the intensity level of the sequence. With a fader you can change this level from 0 to 100% in one movement. However you needed to turn a knob several times to do this. The RapidKnobs plugin was created to speed this up and to have knobs to take bigger steps when you move it faster.As from GrandMA3 software version 2.3, you can set the step size of the knobs eliminating the main reason for what I created RapidKnobs.

However, there are still two reasons for what you could want to use RapidKnobs. First of all, it provides a dynamic speed that allows you to make precise adjustments turning slowly in contrast to the static solution in the MA software. On the other hand, RapidKnobs can be configured to disconnect the knob from the button allowing you to use them for two completely different purposes.

Now, that the primary advantage of RapidKnobs has been incorporated in the GrandMA3 software, it is available for a symbolic price.
