There are presets you use… …and the fixtures that quietly stopped being part of the story.
The Preset Cleaner helps you tidy that up.
You choose one or a range of presets, and the sequence you are interested in. Hit “Check only”, and The Preset Cleaner tells you:
- all fixtures with data in the preset
- which ones are used in the sequence
- and which fixtures are not used with those presets, the ones you could clean out.
When you’re ready to act, run it again and choose “Check + Clean”.
The Preset Cleaner removes those unused fixtures from each preset for you.
It will give you leaner presets, fewer surprise edits, and clearer information when it’s time to archive or hand over the show. Perfect when you’re prepping a touring file, archiving a show, or just trying to make tomorrow’s you a bit happier.

This is a helpful tool for anyone programming theatrical shows with one main sequence. It streamlines the process of cleaning up the showfile, making it easier to bring the show back to stage again and again.

For theatrical shows, this is great but for music shows would need an option to select multiple sequences at a time (i.e. sequence 1 thru). There are always multiple sequences in use so this would be super handy for that. Thanks!
